About this test
A small sensor placed inside the mouth gives the highest-detail view of a single tooth — the decay between teeth that is invisible on examination, the state of a root after treatment, and the bone level around it.
What it measures
- Decay, including between adjacent teeth
- Root and periapical status
- Surrounding bone level
A note on results. A single test is one part of a clinical picture, not a diagnosis. Discuss your report with a qualified doctor, who will read it alongside your history and examination.
